I have bought a H2 and an H3 buffer from Pur. Tungsten so far and I am very pleased. I am am planning picking up a couple more in the near future. They are very well made and work great. The H3 is in a 450 Bushmaster carbine and the H2 is in a 300 Blackout pistol.

I purchased the H1 buffer along with some tungsten weights. I did this because I have an AR pistol chambered in 7.62×39 that I’m wanting to tune. When I pulled the weights out of this buffer, I was surprised to find that one is not the standard size, it’s about 4mm taller than the standard weight sizes. While I had it apart, I tried to fit some other buffer weights I had laying around, and I found that the internal diameter of the buffer was too small to get any of my other buffer weights to fit, only the ones provided are able to fit. So, I ordered an H1 and that’s what I’ve got. I can add one additional tungsten weight in place of the standard sized steel one to get it a little heavier. I’m glad I have my original buffer, as I’ll just put the 3 weights I ordered in that and keep this an H1 in case I get a 5.56 upper.

In all, it’s what it claims to be, but I wish it were more standard and gave me additional options to make it into whatever I need for the shooting setup I have.

Very nice buffer. Shipping was fast, communication was responsive and personal. I picked up the H3 to tame a over gassed AR pistol with 7.5″ barrel. We have fire restrictions in AZ now but I will report back after I shoot the gun. I’m confident this will get me running consistently. Thank you

Very fast shipping. They look comparible to others from the outside, seem ok. The first thing I did was put them on a scale. I purchased a h1 and a h2. They are both about 1/10th of an ounce lighter than advertised. I’m sure they will work fine for me but if you’re really needing to fine tune your setup be aware that the weight might not be exact. Also unrelated but the web site is hard to use with the massive logo covering half my screen
Thank you for your feedback. The Tungsten buffer weights in the buffer tube can vary slightly in weight because it’s not an exact science. I will also look into the website issue you were having to remedy it. Thank you for your business!
